Diane

Diane is an Oregon native who graduated from Mt. Hood Community College Beauty School and spent the first 17 years of her career At the Salon on NW 21st Ave and 3 years under the talented wing of her mentor Joyce Vowell.

Diane and her husband Robert have two beautiful children - their fun and vivacious daughter Emma and inquisitive, music-loving son Tyler. When not clipping away at Strut and advising clients on how to look their best, Di can be found participating in her children's school events, whipping up a masterful meal or chilling out with a good glass of red wine with her friends and family.

Cutting and coloring hair is a creative outlet for Diane and helping people feel and look their best truly inspires her. She is a master of both male  and female haircutting and she keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the scene. She is constantly working on her own innovative techniques and thrives on the talents of her peers and mentors.

One of the most gratifying aspects of her career is the relationships she has built with her long-standing clients. Di has many clients who have been with her since her early days and many of these clients are now personal friends and feel like family. She is grateful that so many of her clients have followed her to Strut and she looks forward to meeting many new clients in the future.
